Master classes have been regularly offered by artists in the region and by internationally acclaimed performers. Previous artists include: Robert McDuffie, Almita and Roland Vamos, Yfrah Neaman, Eleonore Schoenfeld, Andrew Schulman, Kathleen Winkler and Fredell Lack. Sessions have also been held with members of the Pacific Symphony Orchestra and Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Strings Faculty
The CSUF string/artist faculty is dedicated to promoting the growth and progress of its student’s musical expertise. Members are active performers and maintain a high profile in professional performance activities, lecture/demonstrations and as adjudicators for area, regional and national competitions.

Auditions
All students wishing to study strings at Cal State Fullerton must audition.

3.) Contact area coordinator, Dr. Ernest Salem, listed below, for more information.

Both scholarship and entrance auditions for incoming students are scheduled in the spring of each year. Students who hope to begin study in a spring semester may make special arrangements for an audition through the area coordinator.
