Saxophonist Jeff Ellwood has performed with numerous distinguished international jazz artists including Quincy Jones, John Williams, Randy Brecker, Christian McBride, James Moody, James Williams, John Abercrombie, Joe Zawinal, Gary Burton, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Bob Mintzer, Patti Austin, Roy Hardgrove, Eddie Daniels, Dave Grusin, Peter Erskine, Vinnie Colaiuta, Lee Ritenour, Patrick Williams, Gary Foster, Brandon Fields and Bobby Shew during his young career. He received his Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music and his Master of Music degree from Cal State Fullerton. As a student of Rick Margitza, George Garzone, Bill Pierce, James Moody, James Rötter and Hal Crook, he has won numerous awards, and is in demand as a performer. A member of the Henry Mancini Institute in 2002 and 2003, he served as tenor saxophone soloist. Jeff can currently be heard performing with the Alan Pasqua Jazz Collective. He is currently teaching applied saxophone at Cal State Fullerton.
