Minor L. Wetzel (Mick) has been a member of the Los Angles Philharmonic since 1994. He has appeared many times with orchestras as soloist in the Walton, Mozart and Bartok viola concertos. Wetzel is a regular performer with the L.A. Philharmonic’s chamber music series at Gindi Auditorium, and has performed with various new music groups under the auspices of the Philharmonic’s Green Umbrella series. His teachers have included Roland Vamos, Emmanuel Vardi, Donald McInnes, Camilla Wicks and Tadeusz Wronski. Wetzel teaches viola at Cal State Fullerton.
