Facilities

The Music Department's facilities are located in the modern and spacious Performing Arts Center. The department's major performance venues include an intimate 200-seat Recital Hall and dynamic new 800-seat Meng Concert Hall, which opened January 2006 and has been hailed by the Orange County Register as "A first class concert hall." In addition, the center boasts rehearsal rooms for large and small ensemble rehearsals, classrooms, faculty offices and studios, and a generous supply of practice rooms. The Music Department is also home to the Michalsky Resource Center, a computer music and MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) laboratory.
