MINDY BALL, Instructor of Music

Mindy BallMindy Ball began playing harp at the age of 14, studying with Marjorie Call and Linda Wood-Rollo.  Since 1979, she has been principal harpist with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra with yearly seasons that include a Classical, Chamber, Pops and Children’s Series along with intensive participation with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra’s training programs.  She performs as principal harpist not only for Opera Pacific and Pacific Chorale, but also with major touring ballet companies such as the Royal Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, Kirov Ballet and American Ballet Theater.  She performs with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and Los Angeles Civic Light Opera and for 12 years was the harpist for the Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach.  She has performed for George Bush, Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger; and, along with keeping a busy freelance and recording career, Mindy teaches harp at California State University, Fullerton as well as at Biola and Chapman universities.
