Jazz pianist and composer Mark Massey has performed throughout the world from across the U.S. to Europe, the former Soviet Union, Far East and India. Massey has worked with Freddie Hubbard, Hubert Laws, Stéphane Grappelli, Louie Bellson, Poncho Sanchez, Maynard Ferguson and many other jazz greats. In the spring of 2004 he made a 6-week U.S. tour with the Side Street Strutters, who have recently been involved in a series of symphony pops concerts. Mark was recipient of the Carmen Dragon Fellowship for composition, and dubbed "A Young Giant" by the National Association Of Jazz Educators. He graduated from CSU Long Beach with both Bachelor and Masters degrees in Music. He is also busy around Southern California performing with his own trio and quintet, and recording for Geofonica Records. Massey teaches jazz piano at Cal State Fullerton.
