Assistant professor, soprano Patricia Prunty, has made her mark on both the operatic and concert stage. As winner of the Center for Contemporary Opera’s International Competition, Prunty presented her Weill Recital Hall debut in 2000 and Carnegie Hall debut the preceding fall. An active soloist, she continues to perform with such groups as Pacific Chorale, Pacific Symphony and Trillium Ensemble. Her many engagements have taken her to Africa, the Middle East, Paris and Stockholm, and her credits include performances with the Los Angeles Opera, San Diego Symphony and New York’s 92nd Street ‘Y’.
