Music Department Entrance Requirements

  1. UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS (Apply online)
    Apply and be admitted to the University.

  2. AUDITIONS (Audition information)
    Successfully audition for applied faculty on your instrument / voice. (Prior private lessons on your instrument / voice are strongly recommended.)

  3. MUSIC FUNDAMENTALS (Sample questions)
    Demonstrate knowledge of music fundamentals including, but not limited to key signatures, scale structure, intervals and time signatures.
