The playwright’s target is parenthood and Durang skewers Mom and Dad with a savagely gleeful wit and wacky black humor. First produced for enthusiastic audiences at New York’s Playwrights Horizons, the play has now delighted theatergoers worldwide.

Blending stirring imagery, passionate storytelling and stunning visuals, award-winning playwright Mary Zimmerman brings Ovid’s tales of Midas, Narcissus, Eros, Psyche, Orpheus, Eurydice and others to life in remarkable ways. This exciting play captured the imagination of audiences throughout America before moving Off Broadway and eventually to Broadway’s Circle in the Square Theatre in 2002.
“Metamorphoses became a sold-out hit… the place in which dreams and reality, the primal and the particular melt and merge, devastate and console.” (The New York Times)

It’s 1965—free love, civil unrest, marijuana, the military draft, Vietnam war and college kids trying to find their way to adulthood. Michael Weller’s comedy has a deep conscience as the struggling collection
of young men and women cope with the loss of a parent, changing
feminist expectations, shallow sex and a changing America.
“A phenomenal, virtuoso display of wit and verbal imagination.”
The New York Times

Passionate, earthy and poignant, it’s easy to understand why, of all the shows they created, Carousel was Rodgers & Hammerstein’s
personal favorite. In a Maine coastal village, the swaggering, carefree carnival barker Billy Bigelow captivates and marries Julie Jordan, who is soon with child. Billy is far from perfect, but how he eventually instills a sense of family hope and dignity is a dramatic testimony to the power of love. The classic songs You’ll Never Walk Alone, If I Loved You and June is Bustin’ Out All Over are just a few of the hits that have kept audiences humming and singing as they exit the theatre for over six decades!
Music by Richard Rodgers • Book & Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II
Directed by Eve Himmelheber • Musical Direction by Mitchell Hanlon • Choreography by William F. Lett

Siblings Ed and Adele inherit an enormous aviary that their late father built for his deceased wife, whose soul, he believed, had transformed into the body of a wren. The grown children are faced with the dilemma of what to do with the crumbling structure and folded into this debate are issues of religious conviction and fears of commitments and relationships.
“A rare discovery in a new play--an intricately constructed comedy about love and grief that is incredibly funny, surprisingly touching and soaring with joyful humanity...a not-to-be-missed theatrical triumph...” Back Stage

This longtime comedy hit of the London and Broadway stages spotlights the cantankerous novelist, Charles Condomine, remarried but literally haunted by the ghost of his late first wife, Elvira. A medium, Madame Arcati, makes contact with the late wife and as the worldly and ghostly personalities clash, hilarity ensues in ways that only the wickedly sophisticated Noel Coward could devise. The New York Times’ Ben Brantley writes that “Blithe Spirit considers a theme close to its writer’s heart: the disruptive force of sexual passion, as it brings out the beast in the seemingly genteel.”
by Noel Coward • Directed by Mark Ramont
