Welcome from the Assistant Dean

Welcome to the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics! As the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, I work closely with current and potential students majoring in Biological Science, Chemistry/Biochemistry, Geological Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics. My primary role in the college is to serve as a resource, advisor and advocate. I am here to help students successfully navigate the university from their first year through graduation.

My office is located in the Opportunity Center for Science and Mathematics Students (OCSAMS) in McCarthy Hall Room 488. The Center offers free, drop-in tutoring for Biology, Chemistry/Biochemistry and Physics courses, as well as study tables for individual and group use, computers, printers, a photocopier and other amenities. I can also refer you to helpful resources both in NSM and around campus for assistance with mathematics and GE courses. If you happen to be in McCarthy Hall, stop by and check out OCSAMS!
