2009 Summary:
Problems Found:
Checkpoint C, Color: In the "Join the Alumni Association" and Upcoming events boxes, the color differentiation between the type and the background color is not sufficient.
Checkpoint N, Forms: Search from <input> element does not have an associated <label> tag.
Repair for Checkpoint N could be accomplished throughout the site by modifying the template.
Repair for Checkpoint C could be accomplished throughout the site by modifying the CSS.
2007 Summary:
Problems Found:
Checkpoint A, alternative text: One image without an ALT tag.
Checkpoint L, scripts: Event handler is not accessible to keyboard users. The functionality does not work as designed in the Firefox browser but is accessible to mouse users with javascript disabled.
Checkpoint G, tables: Simple layout table does not include "summary" attribute.
Evaluation: Fixing these problems at Checkpoints A and G would take little time; perhaps less than 5 minutes. Repairing Checkpoint L would require a rewrite of the code or a redesign of the feature.
Repairs for Checkpoint L would be made on a template and replicated across the site.
Repairs for Checkpoint G would require fixes to each page's content area.
