2009 Summary
Problems Found:
Checkpoint A, text equivalents: There are no ALT tags associated with the rotating images. Some of these images have associated text.
Checkpoint N, forms: The search form does not have a valid <label> tag.
Evaluation: Checkpoint N is easily fixed. Tagging the rotating images in the Flash object will take more time. This page also has HTML header issues..
2007 Summary
Problems Found:
Checkpoint A, text equivalents: Some design and graphic elements have descriptive rather than empty ALT tags. CSUF logo and HSS logo are improperly tagged.
Checkpoint C, color: With CSS disabled, the text in the footer bar is unreadable:
- Foreground:#0000FF Background:#003366
- color difference:204/brightness difference:12
- The difference in brightness between the two colors is not sufficient. The threshold is 125, and the result of the foreground and background colors is 12.
- The difference in color between the two colors is not sufficient. The threshold is 500, and the result of the foreground and background colors is 204.
Checkpoint L, scripts: Link in the footer to web site policy does not function when javascript is disabled.
Evaluation: The page can be easily repaired.
