The top menu, with CSS disabled, has three menu rows, each with different background colors and similar problems as outlined above.
Checkpoint D, styles: Styles (module headers) are used to simulate headings. These turn to white on a white background when CSS is disabled. Also, the second row of the top navigation becomes only partially visible.
Checkpoint G, simple tables: Layout tables do not have the "summary=" attribute. (This is a "best practice," not a "failure".)
Checkpoint L, scripts: With javascript disabled, switching between portals, search, the event ad rotator, and the Weather channel features do not function, and there are no alternative methods for access..
Check N, forms: The forms for switching between portals and using the search function do not use the <label> tag properly.
Evaluation: Several key issues need to be addressed. Checkpoints A, C, D, N and G are comparatively easy fixes. The javascript issue may require an alternative solution. This page also has HTML header issues.
