Crisis

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call CAPS (657-278-3040, available 24/7) and ask to speak with the on-call therapist. In the event of an extreme mental health emergency or life-threatening situation, it is recommended that the student call 911, University Police (657-278-2515), or go to the nearest emergency room.

CAPS understands that sometimes mental health or life concerns can rise above the level of distressing and reach the threshold of a mental health crisis. If this happens to you, we want you to know that we are available to help.

CAPS crisis services are available to all currently-enrolled students, for both phone calls and walk-in crisis services between the hours of   8AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. After business hours, our crisis line continues to be available to current students every day,   24/7, including weekends and holidays.
