Outreach Requests

CAPS is pleased to partner with and support various efforts on campus!

Whether you want CAPS to present information to a class, conduct a training to staff or students, or another type of outreach you have in mind, please download and complete the Outreach Request Form and email the form to Dr. Valerie Minchala, Outreach Coordinator, at vminchala@fullerton.edu. The Outreach Coordinator will contact you to confirm receipt of the Outreach Request Form.

Please note that while every effort will be made to honor your request, our ability to do so will depend on counselor availability, which may be very limited during peak times of the semester (i.e., midterms, finals). The likelihood of honoring your request increases if there are multiple dates and times available from which we can choose.

We kindly request 4 weeks' notice for requests for a presentation during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm), and 6 weeks for any requests for availability during evenings, weekends, or holidays. Please note that, due to the increased demand for clinical services, we will be unable to fulfill requests received during the final 4 weeks of the semester.

Additionally, please refer to our Wellness Workshops  schedule for presentations on stress, mood, or thought/anxiety management, and refer to our Drop-In Groups  for support groups on a wide range of other topics!

If you will be referring a large number of students to a Wellness Workshop being held on a specific day/time, please contact Jacquelyn Gerali at jgerali@fullerton.edu, 2 or more weeks in advance, to ensure sufficient materials are available for the presentation.

All presentations are conducted upon request and based on the availability and expertise of the staff.
