Meet the Team

The CMS Finance team is comprised of business analysts, subject matter experts, technical team members from the functional areas, and members from the CMS training & support team and the CMS technical team. Please take a moment to learn more about each business analyst and their role on the project.

Allyson Dvir – CMS Finance Business Analyst Lead.  As business analyst lead, Allyson will oversee with the upgrade for the Finance Accounts Receivable/Billing and Asset Management modules.  Allyson has over 15 years of experience with PeopleSoft and participated in the Finance 8.4 Finance system implementation.

Lynn Cayas - CMS Business Analyst for General Ledger and Budget modules.  Lynn has worked for Volt Services Group using PeopleSoft for 4 years where she was a technical analyst for the accounting group in charge of trees, allocations, queries, nVision layouts and reporting. Lynn has worked at CSUF for the past year assisting with the CMS Finance implementation. 

Sean Chang– CMS Programmer/Analyst.  Sean is a member of the ERP Technical Team and supports CMS Finance.  He has been with CSUF for over 7 years supporting Finance systems in addition to working on the Campus Solutions implementation.

Susan Chen CMS Programmer/Analyst. Susan is a member of the CMS Technical Team and supports CMS Finance. She has been with CSUF for 9 years, responsible for online finance and batch applications in the legacy system. Her focus has been resolving technical and operational issues incurred across functional modules, including Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Position Management.

Edison Lim – Division of Administration & Finance CMS Technical Lead.  Edison is a member of the CMS Technical Team and supports the Finance and Human Resource modules.  He has been with CSUF for 17 years supporting Human Resource and Financial Services.

Joe Luzzi – CMS ERP Assistant Director, Technical Services. Joe manages the activities of the ERP Technical Team and Document Management units including hardware support, operating systems support, software support, and computer operations support of CMS HR, FIS, and Student applications, data warehouse, FileNet document management, and other smaller applications.

Shelly Montoya – CMS Finance Business Analyst for Accounts Payable and Procurement modules.  Shelly has over 20 years of Accounts Payable experience.  She has served as a member of the Cal Poly Pomona implementation team for CMS 7.5 and the upgrade to 8.4 applications in which she was responsible for developing new business processes, system testing, patches, fixes, and interfaces.  Shelly participated in the Finance 8.4 implementation.

Lydia Rodriguez – Financial Systems and Reporting Administrator.  Lydia has worked at CSUF in various Financial Services roles for the last 18 years.  More recently, she was a member of Accounting Services & Financial Reporting as Financial Reporting Manager.  She served as the Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Finance 8.4 implementation responsible for data conversion from FRS to CMS; assist in re-engineering business processes; and redesigning financial reports.

The CMS Finance project currently has one consultant from Io Consulting, Inc., dedicated to the CMS Finance 9.0 upgrade implementation.  Please take a moment to learn more about the Io Consultant and his role on the project.

Max ThakarFinance Functional / Technical Consultant and Project Manager. Max has more than 12 years of PeopleSoft experience, including 9 years with the CSU serving in various roles.  Max participated in the original Finance implementation, creation of CMS Baseline, and worked with the CMS Upgrade Team. Max has assisted many campuses with their CMS FIS implementations and upgrades..
