Meet
the CMS Team
The CMS Project
Team is comprised of more than the faces and names you see on a
regular basis. We intentionally seek support from the campus community
in order to ensure a fully functional implementation across all
areas. This project is successful because of the efforts put forth
by each and every member. Please take a moment to hear what some
of them have to say about their experience with the project so far.

"CMS/PeopleSoft
has given our campus the opportunity to streamline and bring continuity
to many of our business processes. The CMS Part-Time Faculty Implementation
Team has included administrators, deans, chairs, clerical, budget
personnel and other stakeholders input to create this uniquely "Fullerton"
product. I am so excited to share the Part-Time Faculty Module with
the campus."

"What I like most about the CMS implementation is
the ability for the departments to access data as needed and the
self-service feature for the employees. The fit-gap sessions have
allowed both the users and the technical groups to see the big picture,
understand the issues, and to come up with standardized processes."

“I’m
excited about the implementation of CMS here at Fullerton because
of the features if offers. The fact that we’ll be using one
system to track crucial data for students, faculty, and staff is
an improvement all by itself. CMS is giving us the tools to streamline
our processes and complete our enrollment into the benefit programs
in an efficient and much faster way.”

“It
has been great working with the campus community as we identify
the needs for CMS. In addition, the Business Analysts did a “GREAT”
job facilitating the numerous fit gap sessions. Special thanks to
Amir Dabirian for providing the tools and resources to make the
project successful.”

"A
major benefit that I can see is the emphasis on designing common,
standardized, campus-wide procedures that make processes much easier
to accomplish as well as to automate."

"I
see many benefits of the CMS implementation. I see it as a means
to eliminate many “shadow” reports that the college
and departments have had to create. With the temporary faculty appointments
I will be able to see the allocation history of any faculty person,
how many units taught, etc. I will be able to access personnel information
without having to leave my desk. I will be able to access data on
entitlements without having to manually put together a database.
I will be able to do queries to obtain detailed information and
customize various reports easily for the Dean’s perusal."
