The Latinx Community Resource Center strives to provide students with the resources and training needed to become a successful student at California State University, Fullerton. There are a list of scholarship and internship opportunities that we find may be useful for undergraduates, graduates, staff, and faculty.

Chicano/Latino Faculty & Staff Association (CLFSA) at CSUF Scholarship
To apply for the CLFSA Scholarship, complete the online scholarship forms. It will be posted each semester. The application must be submitted to the address below.

California Chicano News Media Association (CCNMA) Scholarships
The California Chicano News Media Association is an organization for journalists, media professionals, employers and students concerned with Chicano affairs in California. The CCNMA Scholarships, including the Joel Garcia Memorial Scholarship and the Frank del Olmo Memorial Scholarship, are awarded annually to qualified Latino students who are planning to pursue a career in journalism. Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) Scholarships
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is pleased to be the administrator of scholarship opportunities provided by our partners to assist in defraying some of your college expenditures. HACU administers a number of scholarships for students who attend Hispanic Serving Institutions, such as California State University, Fullerton. Criteria does vary by scholarship, but students must demonstrate financial need.

Hispanic College Fund
The Hispanic College Fund is a nonprofit organization aiming to prepare Hispanic young people to become professionals in the future. It serves primarily high school and college students. HCF administers a large number of National scholarships for Chicanos/Latinos in a number of subject areas. Criteria varies by scholarship.

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund empowers families with the knowledge and resources to successfully complete a higher education, while providing scholarships and support services to as many exceptional students as possible. HCF administers a large number of National scholarships for Chicanos/Latinos in a number of subject areas

League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Scholarships
LULAC National Scholarship Fund is administered through local LULAC Councils, in partnership with local and national businesses. They award scholarships to students in their communities. Other funds are administered through the LULAC National Education Service Center, such as GE Fund And GM Fund Scholarships.

Mexican American Legal Defense & Educational Fund (MALDEF)
The Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund is the nation’s leading Latino legal civil rights organization. Their commitment is to protect and defend the rights of all Latinos living in the United States and the constitutional rights of all Americans.
MALDEF provides an Undergraduate Scholarship Resource Guide and the MALDEF Law School Scholarship Program for qualified students who show financial need, academic potential and a commitment to the Latino Community.

The Orange County Hispanic Education Endowment Fund (HEEF)
The Orange County Hispanic Education Endowment Fund serves students who live in Orange County, California. Their mission is to improve access to higher education for OC Hispanic/Latino students. HEEF offers competitive academic scholarships for OC high school and community college transfers, awards tuition grants for students at selected Santa Ana, CA Catholic grammar schools, and provides scholarships for OC college graduates to attend Law School.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute:
Congressional Internship Program (CIP)
The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) is a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization, providing leadership development programs and educational services to students and young emerging Latino leaders.The purpose of the Congressional Internship Program (CIP) is to expose young Latinos to the legislative process and to strengthen their professional and leadership skills, ultimately promoting the presence of Latinos on Capitol Hill.
Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities (HACU)
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities Internship Program (HNIP) staff works with Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), federal agencies, and corporations to recruit well-qualified and motivated students. Participating agencies and corporations hope to increase diversity in their work force by providing internship opportunities to high-achieving Hispanic students. This creates a pipeline of future employees who have had positive, meaningful work experience.
