Campus-Wide ID: Students
Cal State Fullerton continues its commitment to protect the privacy
of students and to comply with all state and federal laws regarding
the collection, maintenance and dissemination of Social Security
numbers. The California legislature has passed several new laws
requiring that universities use an assigned identification number
instead of SSNs. There remain, however, a number of business processes
within the university that will require the collection of your SSN,
particularly those related to student employment and financial aid.
