Students will understand the foundational computer science subjects such as data structures and algorithms, computing systems, software design and architecture, security fundamentals, and related mathematics.

Students will understand state-of-the-art computing technologies and practices and know how to use them.

Students will recognize computing problems, industry needs for solutions to those problems, and impacts of the solutions on our diverse society.

Students will accurately analyze problems, recognize the ideal computing technologies and practices, and specify the computing requirements appropriate to their solutions.

Students will communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences for the computing problems and solutions by giving oral presentations and writing technical reports.
