Ana Nez, Ph.D. comes from a Mexican family that settled in Fullerton, California in the early 1970's. She earned a B.A. in Comparative Literature from UC Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Chicana/o Literature from UC Santa Barbara. She has taught Literature and Ethnic Studies courses at several colleges across the Southwest, including Diné College on the Navajo Nation. Her current research focuses on the indigenous roots of Chicanx identities and cultural practices and the environmental consciousness that accompanies them. Join us for a conversation over food!
