Applications for Fall 2013 are Now being Accepted on CSUMentor (www.csumentor.edu)

The Master’s degree program in Computer Engineering is open to students who have earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a related discipline. The degree program is now available on CSUMentor (www.csumentor.edu) for students to apply. Information about applying to our graduate programs is available at http://www.fullerton.edu/ecs/future/admissions/index.asp

You may also contact the Graduate and International Admissions office for the College of Engineering and Computer Science at ecsgrad@fullerton.edu or via phone at (657) 278-7786.

Over the past decade, there has been a rapid increase in demand for computer engineers in various fields, especially in the area of mobile devices (iPad, iPhone, etc.) and high-performance computing systems needed for e-prescription and electronic health record keeping mandated by the government. This trend only continues to grow. The MS degree program in Computer Engineering is designed to provide students a strong understanding of the hardware design and practical applications of computer based systems. Courses in contemporary and highly evolving computer engineering areas provide students extensive hardware design and modeling experience and also exposure to state-of-the-art electronic design automation (EDA) tools. After completion of the degree program, students will have an extensive theoretical background and practical training in all aspects of computer based systems, along with an in-depth knowledge in engineering analysis, design, implementation and testing. The program will prepare students for engineering jobs that require computer hardware skills.
