Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) 2022

Every Summer ASSURE-US hosts SURE for participating ASSURE-US  students. Selected students have the option to work with participating Engineering and Computer Science faculty on a research project organized by faculty members. 

SURE is open to eligible Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior students. Accepted students are paid an hourly wage of $16.00 for their participation. Students work on research for five weeks beginning May 31, 2022, and ending on August 1, 2022 or six weeks beginning May 23, 2022, and ending on August 1, 2022. 

Deadlines

  • Application opens Thursday, April 28, 2022
  • Application closes Sunday, May 7, 2022

Compensation

  • Duration of the SRE program: 5 weeks ( May 31 – July 1, 2022 ) or 6 weeks (May 23 - July 1)
  • Students will commit a maximum of 10 hours per week
  • Hourly wage is $16.00 USD
  • Students who complete both the pre and post-survey and submit a final report or a poster can submit additional 6 hours in the last week
