Graduate Plan of Study

The course structure for each of the MS degree streams is shown below.

• Structural Engineering
• Environmental Engineering
• Construction Engineering and Management
• Geotechnical Engineering

Notes:

1. Elective courses must be taken from the respective lists. Advisor's approval will be required if students choose electives from a different area.
2. For EGCE 597, 598 and 599, students must submit to the CE department an abstract for the planned project/thesis signed by the advisor.
3. Students should also pass the English Writing Proficiency Exam.
4. Students who do not have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering need to complete a few deficiency courses before they can graduate.
