Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • Be U.S. citizens, nationals of the United States, aliens admitted as refugees or lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence at the time of application.
  • Be enrolled full time (12 units) at the undergraduate level and majoring in one of the following disciplines: civil and environmental engineering, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.
  • Demonstrate unmet financial need defined for undergraduate students by the US Dept. of Education rules for Federal financial aid and implemented by the University's Office of Financial Aid. (students must complete Federal Student Aid FAFSA application to determine financial eligibility).
  • Must demonstrate academic potential through interview and letter of recommendation .

    Additional Criterion:
    • Students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
    • Must have completed or be enrolled in Math 125 course at the time of application
    To remain eligible for the ACE scholarship, students must:
    • Maintain a 3.0 or better CSUF GPA.
    • Remain in good academic standing and demonstrate progress toward the B.S. degree in an engineering and computer science discipline.
    • Continue to meet the federal financial aid requirements.
    • Continue as a full-time student.
    • Continue to maintain satisfactory performance in ECS ACE related program activities.
