What are the Benefits?

The Abrego Student Scholars Program is a one-year scholarship program. In addition to the scholarship's financial funding for scholastic needs, selected students are also provided with specialized academic and co-curricular support services. These opportunities are anchored in our unique approach to supporting students from four equally important angles: 

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

• A $1,500.00 scholarship distributed in two halves of $750.00 each, one per semester

MENTORING

• Involvement in the LINKS peer mentor program
• Involvement in a faculty/staff mentorship program

ACADEMIC SUCCESS

• Personal one-on-one advising
• Invitation to academic workshops
• Access to study lounge in the Center for Scholars
