My research focuses on the structural geology, tectonics, geodynamics, and regional geology of convergent margins. I use geologic mapping, geophysics, geochronology, and petrography to understand

• continental collision
• subduction complex accretion and erosion processes
• the impacts of subduction dynamics on continents and vice versa
• the role of the mantle lithosphere in surface geology
• along-strike variations in all of these.
