Graduate Studies at CSUF

We
are pleased that you are considering Cal State Fullerton as a place
to pursue a graduate degree. We offer almost 50
graduate programs (49 master's degree programs and one joint doctoral
program). Three of these programs are entirely on-line Instructional
Design and Technology, Software
Engineering, and Information Technology to address the diverse educational needs of a highly
mobile, career-oriented society. Most of our programs may be pursued
either on a full-time or part-time basis. The majority of graduate
course work is offered in the late afternoon and evening for the
convenience of students who work. Class sizes are kept small and
are conducive to effective student-professor interaction.
Admission criteria, degree requirements and course descriptions
are listed in the University Catalog. Graduate advisers are available
in each department to meet with prospective and current students.
Appointments can be made through the departmental offices or by
contacting the graduate advisers through e-mail.
Many departments have also established their own website where
you can find more information on the programs offered, graduate student
research opportunities, graduate student organizations, and scholarships
and awards. In addition, our Career
Planning and Placement Center can provide you with assistance
in job seeking or transitioning.
A number of graduate programs offer the option of writing a master's thesis as the culminating experience. To view some of the completed 2004 Thesis titles click here.
If you are interested in doing a thesis or project you will want to view our “Thesis Manual".
