Cal State Fullerton offers outstanding opportunities for students to pursue a graduate degree and attain their personal and professional goals.  Approximately 2,100 full- and part-time dedicated faculty members – scholars, researchers, writers, composers, artists and mentors – bring a diversity of teaching styles, interests and personalities to Cal State Fullerton.  Many are nationally recognized through their publications, research grants and other professional activities.

Graduate students can choose from among 50 graduate degrees, including a doctoral program and five programs entirely on-line
(Education Technology, Elementary Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Design and Technology, Software Engineering, and Information Technology).  About 5,600 students are enrolled in graduate programs; most attend part-time and enjoy the flexibility and convenience of late afternoon and evening classes.  Class sizes are kept small and are conducive to effective student-professor interaction.

Admission criteria, degree requirements and course descriptions are listed in the University Catalog. Many departments have also established their own website where you can find more information on the programs offered, graduate student research opportunities, graduate student organizations, and scholarships and awards.  Graduate advisers are available in each department to meet with prospective and current students. Appointments can be made through the departmental offices or by contacting the graduate advisers through e-mail.
