Sarah Abedzadeh ′07
graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. During her time at Cal State Fullerton she was inducted into Psi Chi, the psychology honor society, and Eta Sigma Gamma and the Health Science honor society. She was placed on the Dean’s list 6 times for her exceptional performance in her classes. Sarah truly believes in the value of a good education which she tries to pass on through her work as a tutor for drug addicted youth and former gang members. She also runs an after school program where she works as a mentor to at risk youth in continuation schools. Sarah plans to pursue a masters and doctorate degree in psychology and her goal is to continue her work with at risk youth as a school psychologist.

Crystal King ′07
graduates with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Before arriving at Cal State Fullerton, Crystal enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served for four years in order to gain life experience and see the world. She then came to Cal State Fullerton as a transfer student from Fullerton Junior College. Crystal plans to obtain a Masters Degree in psychology in the future. She currently works at the Center for Discovery, a residential treatment center for adolescents with eating disorders.

Markus Mc Queen ′07
graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in advertising. Megan has made significant contributions through her four year membership in the Gamma Phi Beta sorority where she held the position as philanthropy chair. In addition, she served on the board of directors for the American Marketing Association. Currently Megan has achieved her dream of breaking into the world of advertising by becoming a media planner for a premier advertising agency in Orange County. She would like to tell everyone that has helped her accomplish her dream, "to the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world."

Cynthia Sotelo-Ortiz ′07
Tgraduates with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services. She obtained this degree because she is a caring individual who thrives in being able to help others. Cynthia currently works at Santa Anita Family Services in Pomona where she provides in home services to families. She aspires to pursue a Masters degree in Social Work so that she can better serve her community.

Jacob Tapolski ′07
graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. During his time at Cal State University, Fullerton he has been involved in various activities. He also served as a Guardian Scholars Program Advisory Board student representative. Jacob has worked diligently over the past five years to obtain his degree and we are very proud of him.

Nick Wu ′07
is graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Before graduation, Nick was actively involved in school groups. Nick was a member of the Sociology Honors Society, Alpha Kappa Delta . Nick was also treasurer of the QSA (Queer Straight Alliance) on campus. Concerned with social issues, Nick has been an advocate for foster youth rights. Working with nonprofits such as CYC (California Youth Connection), CASA( Court Appointed Special Advocate) and Y.O.U.T.H. Training Project, Nick was been able to represent the foster youth experience, while concurrently empowering the social workers and other foster care professionals to utilize tools to better help them navigate their caseloads. Currently Nick resides in New York. In the future he hopes to attend law school, while possibly simultaneously obtaining a Master's in Gender Studies.
