Meet the Housing Staff
Interim Director of Housing and Residence Life: Larry Martin. Larry is responsible for the overall direction of the program, and oversees the entire Housing operation.
Associate Director of Housing - Residence Life: Sharnette Underdue. Sharnette is responsible for the development and delivery of services and programs which produce a residential experience that ensures the well-being and personal development of residents.
Associate Director of Housing - Administration and Finance: Drew Chesen. Drew has direct responsibility for the administrative services of the Housing program. He directs all activities related to finance and budget, resident data and data analysis, client relations, and administrative support services. He is the program administrator responsible for marketing, housing application processes, contracting, billing, and administrative office staffing.
Associate Director of Housing - Conference & Dining Services: Is responsible for overseeing the residential dining operation in The Gastronome and Late Night Dining Cafe. Ensures the dining staff is providing quality dining services and special events to meet the needs and desires of the residents. Serves as the advisor for the food committee. In addition, manages the summer conference program which provides housing and dining services for various camps and programs.
Associate Director of Housing - Facilities Maintenance & Planning: John Ramirez. John is responsibile for the management and supervision of the physical planning and development of the campus residential community and its property. His responsibilities include supervision of custodial, grounds and maintenance staff, and oversees maintenance of facilities.
Complex Coordinators: Terrie Tran, Derrick Wise, and Aaron Harbaugh. The Residential Complex Coordinators are full-time, live-in professional staff members. Trained in counseling and administration, they are prepared to assist students with concerns which might affect their personal or academic life. The Complex Coordinators also supervise the Resident Advisor (RA) staff, administer the day to day operation of the Resident Advisor office, serve as liaisons to other University offices, and serve as the advisor to the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH).
Program Coordinator: Tracy Shadowens oversees community-wide programs including events in the evenings and weekends. She supervises the Community Programmers, manages the operation of the Academic Resource Center, and advised the Residential Student Association (RSA).
Central Office Staff: Adriane Wilson, Marisela Delgadillo, and Teri Brissae. Adriane leads the administrative staff in the service to our students and constituents. Teri works in Housing Administration office, providing administrative support to the professional staff.
Facilities: Brandon Serna (Maintenance Mechanic), Jesse Barrueta (Maintenance Mechanic), Jose Granados-Vences (Maintenance Mechanic), Donna Garcia (Custodial Supervisor), Manny Contreras (Custodian), Rosalva Gomez (Custodian), Maria Batista (Custodian), Anthony Chadwick (Custodian), Roberto Cordero (Custodian), Maria Espinoza (Custodian), Lucia Galvan (Custodian), Theresa Henderson (Custodian), Brett Nickman (Custodian), Rick Ponce (Custodian), and Maria Benitez (Custodian), and Johnny Garrison (Groundskeeper). Our facilities staff maintains the buildings, makes repairs from work orders, responds to physical plant emergencies and keeps the complex in good working order.
