The Office of Housing and Residence Life at Cal State Fullerton
offers many services for both on campus as well as off campus
housing needs. For off campus housing information there is a board
outside the Housing Office with cards listing available situations
in the surrounding area. To list with us, please come into our
office to fill out the appropriate card, or send a self addressed,
stamped envelope with a short note requesting cards to list a
space in either your home or apartment. Your card will remain
on our board for two weeks. At that time, it will be taken down
and discarded. If you would like to continue listing with us,
a new card must be filled out. Several cards are being sent to
you upon request. Please fill one card out, sign the back and
return. Keep the extra cards for your future use.
When the Housing Office is closed, the completed card may be
slipped under the gray metal sliding door at the blue counter
which will be posted the next morning. In order for a card to
be posted, the following conditions must be met.
1. BOTH sides of the card must be filled out and signed. Cards
will not be posted without the litter's signature. Listings cannot
be taken over the phone.
2. There must be no discriminatory remarks regarding race or
religion.
Cards that do not meet the above conditions will be automatically
discarded.
Each type of accommodation has a different color-coded card.
Below is a brief description of each card.
BLUE - These are people who are renting and would like a roommate.
GREEN - These are people who do not have a place to live.
BUFF - These are people who offer room and board in exchange for
duties.
PINK - These are people who offer a room for rent in a home.
YELLOW - These are people who have a VACANT unit, (apartment,
guest house or house) for rent.
