  • Welcome to CSUF!
    New international students for the Spring 2012 term must check in at our office between January 9 to January 18. Attendance is required at the International Student Orientation Seminar on Thursday, January 19.

  1. Optional Practical Training Workshop
    Click here for dates/sign-ups.
    OPT is work authorization for students interested in working in the U.S. after graduation or working part-time before graduation. You must sign up for one of the Optional Practical Training (OPT) Part 1 workshops in order to attend. Sign ups for workshops begin at least 2 weeks before the actual workshop date.
  2. Sign Up to be a VIP!
    Do you remember what it was like to be at a new university in a new city? Did someone help you become familiar with the new surroundings? The Volunteer International Peer (VIP) program is designed to assist international students with their continual transition to the CSUF campus and community. VIPs will have the opportunity to enhance their leadership and cross-cultural communication skills, while developing friendships with students who share either the same cultural background or educational goals. Please call before attending a walk-in advising session since hours are subject to change or cancellation.
