- Optional Practical Training Workshop
Click here for dates/sign-ups. OPT is work authorization for students interested in working in the U.S. after graduation or working part-time before graduation. You must sign up for one of the Optional Practical Training (OPT) Part 1 workshops in order to attend. Sign ups for workshops begin at least 2 weeks before the actual workshop date.

Do you remember what it was like to be at a new university in a new city? Did someone help you become familiar with the new surroundings? The Volunteer International Peer (VIP) program is designed to assist international students with their continual transition to the CSUF campus and community. VIPs will have the opportunity to enhance their leadership and cross-cultural communication skills, while developing friendships with students who share either the same cultural background or educational goals. Campus Closure during Spring 2012
The entire campus will be closed, including International Education & Exchange Office
- February 20 — Presidents' Day
- March 26 to 30 — Spring Recess;NO CLASSES but Campus OPEN except on Friday, March 30th
- March 30 — Cesar Chavez Day (Observed)
- May 28 — Memorial Day
