Chris Manriquez

Vice President for Information Technology, CSUF

Chris Manriquez has returned to California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) as the new Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer. With more than 25 years of experience in higher education technology leadership, Chris brings a deep understanding of how technology can transform learning, operations, and student success.

Before coming home to CSUF, Chris served as the VP for Information Technology and CIO at CSU Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), where he led major campus IT initiatives and advanced digital transformation efforts.

A first-generation college graduate and proud Titan, Chris earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in geography at CSUF, specializing in geographic information systems. His connection to the campus runs deep — prior to his leadership at CSUDH, he held several key roles right here at Cal State Fullerton.
