Ted is the Chief Information Officer for the City of Los Angeles and General Manager of the Information Technology Agency (ITA), leading 462 IT professionals who support more than 50,000 City employees across 45 departments and deliver digital services to over 4 million residents. Appointed by the Mayor in 2015, he brings over 27 years of technology leadership experience spanning both the public and private sectors. His leadership has earned national recognition—including #1 Digital City in America and multiple CIO of the Year honors—and he is a frequent speaker on digital strategy and smart cities.
