Change your Email/Computer Password
(Note: At CSUF, the Email Password IS the same one that is used to log in to your ON-Campus computer. They are not separate. If you change your Email Password, you will then have to use the same password to log onto your On-Campus computer.)
Campus Password Security
Because of heightened security and portal technology, the campus is now using stronger passwords. As your password will be used as your key to many resources on the campus including personalized web, email, database access, and electronic signature passwords MUST be between 8 and 14 characters in length and contain at least 3 of 4 character types (lower case letter, upper case letter, special character, and numbers).
Changing Your Password
If you are away from campus and are unable to log in please contact your department IT coordinator (or department secretary). They will make a request on your behalf. Click to send an email to the helpdesk.
If you are on campus and on a PC workstation you can press ALT + CTRL + DEL and select "Change Password" from the buttons.
