Room Configuration

The Data Visualization Center can be arranged in one of three configurations to meet the needs of your meeting or presentation.   The three configurations are U-Shaped, Classroom, or Pods.  When you request to reserve the rooms you can indicate which configuration you want.

U-Shaped

tables arranged in U-shape in center of room

This configuration allows for the tables to be in a long "U" design with chairs facing the center of the room. This is prefect for a moderately large group to sit around a presenter and everyone can see an unobstructed view to the screen.

Along the edges of the room additional tables and chairs face out towards the 2nd floor.

Classroom

classroom desk layout

The classroom configuration presents all tables and chairs in rows facing the main view screen.  This leaves more space around the edges of the room for presenters to walk around the attendees.

Pod

pod configuration

Using a pod configuration puts tables into rectangular groups.  The chairs face into each group rather than a central position in the room.  Multiple activities can happen at the same time with smaller groups around each pod.

It does allow presenters greater movement throughout the room.
