This center has been created to fulfill creativity, innovation and talent through advanced technology such as virtual reality,  3D printing, Jetson Nano Robotics, and 3D scanning.

Pollak Library North (PLN-215)

The Innovation Center is run by Information Technology.  You can make resevations online.

Students:
Stations within the Innovation Center can be checked out by currently enrolled students for up to 2 hours.  Certain stations can accomodate up to 4 persons.

Reservations can be made one week in advance online.

Makerspace

Pollak Library North (PLN-211 - PLN-214)

The makerspace rooms are run by the Pollak Library, including making reservations. These room offer a variety of tools and materials including a laser cutter, vinyl cutter, sewing machines, podcast studio, virtual reality headsets, book making supplies, and more.

3D-Printing with Bambu Lab

3D printing is an innovative technology that lets you create a physical object from a digital model.  Design a model using a 3D modeling program or use pre-existing designs created and shared by others.

  • Supports file formats STL/STP/AMF/ 3MF and OBJ
  • Software: Bambu Studio
  • Cost: $5 an hour

Meta Quest 3

Meta Quest 3 is a cutting edge standalone VR headset.  Featuring a high resolution display, a powerful Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor, and a color pass through camera for an enhanced augmented reality experience.
