Congratulations New Titan!

You are entering one of the most diverse campuses in the nation, and we are excited to help you make CSUF your new home. The next steps in preparing for the start of your first semester includes completing your mandatory orientation requirement.

Join us for Welcome to Cal State Fullerton Day, a free campus-wide event that will introduce Admitted students and their families to the Cal State Fullerton campus.  Register today!

Orientation at CSUF is a Two Part Experience

Your Mandatory Orientation Requirement Consists of you Completing the Following:

Part 1: New Student Orientation (NSO)

Orientation LeadersNew Student Orientation (NSO) is a full-day program designed to allow you to meet fellow new students, connect with current CSUF students, faculty, and staff, receive mandatory academic advising, and register for your Fall classes. The cost of attending an NSO is $85 for students, which covers your meals and materials for the day. NSO also includes a concurrent Parent and Family Orientation program at an additional fee.

NSO sessions last from 8 am to 5 pm, and you are required to attend for the duration of the program.

You must register for NSO before the deadline of Friday, May 13th at 11:59 pm PST. Missing this deadline may result in the loss of your admission to Cal State Fullerton.

Part 2: Student Life Experience (SLE)

Students networking at OrientationThe Student Life Experience (SLE) program is part two to NSO. SLE is a full-day program that will introduce you to meaningful engagement opportunities available outside the classroom. You will participate in our signature "Tuffy Quest" which explores the hidden gems of our beautiful campus. Interactive workshops will highlight various student Life activities. SLE is a great opportunity for you to make friends and learn about how to get involved as a student at CSUF.

SLE takes place in August, and you can register for this program after you have successfully registered for your NSO date (Your NSO payment must be cleared before you can register for SLE.)

Pre-Orientation Tutorial

We highly recommend you complete the Pre-Orientation tutorial before you attend your New Student Orientation session. This tutorial will prepare you for your orientation date and allow you to prepare questions for your faculty advisors, Assistant Deans, and Orientation Leaders for the day of your NSO.

Your Pre-Orientation Tutorial is available through your NSO Registration page, on Titan Online.

Not Anymore: Protecting Our Campus Community from Sexual Harassment and Interpersonal Violence

CSUF wants to make sure you know how to recognize violence, know the options for reporting violence, the resources available to students who experience violence, and ways our campus works to prevent and raise awareness of violence.  In an effort to provide all Titans with information on how to stay safe, all incoming students are required to complete Not Anymore.  Not Anymore is a series of videos about how you can prevent and respond to interpersonal violence, including sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking.  This training is part of a campaign under "Title IX", a federal regulation that prohibits discrimination and harassment based on sex and gender on our campus.

Not Anymore is a required of all students and must be completed before you attend NSO.  You can access Not Anymore through your Orientation Registration on Titan Online.

Failure to complete this training prior to NSO may result in the placement of a registration hold.  It's on all of us as Titans to intervene to stop discrimination, harassment and violence from occurring.
