Accepting your admission and paying the $250 enrollment deposit by May 1, 2013 is required before you can sign up for New Student Orientation (allow processing of the enrollment deposit payment before signing up for an NSO session). Applicants admitted after April 15, 2013 have two weeks from the date of admission, printed on the admit letter, to accept their admission offer.
New Student & Parent Programs congratulates you on your acceptance to California State University, Fullerton! We know you have a wonderful experience ahead of you, full of great memories. That said, we know the transition into college life can be both exciting and challenging. By attending New Student Orientation (NSO), we can help you make the right choices as you begin your journey toward academic success!
The New Student Orientation registration website for first-time freshmen has closed. Please contact the office of New Student & Parent Programs at (657) 278-2501 for more information.
New Student Orientation (NSO) is MANDATORY for all first-time freshmen. All first-time freshmen admitted for fall 2013 must sign up for a New Student Orientation session no later than 5:00pm on Friday, May 17, 2013 in order to attend Cal State Fullerton in the fall. Signing up for NSO confirms your intent to attend CSUF. If you do not sign up for a session date, you risk losing your admission offer to the university.
Orientation is a great opportunity for you to meet fellow new students and make valuable connections with current Cal State Fullerton students, faculty and staff. New students who make these connections and create these friendships tend to be more successful in their transition to college. In fact, students who attend orientation are more likely to be satisfied with their college experience, achieve better grades and graduate!
