TRANSFER STUDENTS
There are 2 options for you to complete the mandatory 2023 orientation requirement: in-person OR online. The fee for orientation, regardless of option selected, is $100. You must complete ONE of the options to satisfy the orientation requirement prior to starting the fall semester.
In-person Orientation
You will spend the day at CSUF and tour campus, meet current students, attend sessions with Financial Aid, general education, the Career Center, your academic college, and more. You will also get CSUF gear and have lunch with future classmates! The afternoon session is with your academic college and may include fall course registration, building tours, and academic advising. Registration is required for in-person sessions. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible, as spots are limited. In-person orientation registration is available through your portal from May 15 – June 5 or until capacity is reached.
OR
Online Orientation
You will complete a 3 step process that includes interactive modules to learn more about campus resources and policies, ways to get involved on campus, your academic college, and general education. The modules will take approximately 45 minutes to complete. You will engage with your academic college for major specific academic advising and registration. We will also offer an opportunity to tour campus, get free Titan gear, and engage with classmates and current students at Titan Welcome Weekend.

Navigate to the Student Homepage

Click on the Admissions tile

Click on the Orientation tab on the menu on the far-left side

Select either the in-person orientation option OR the online orientation module option (In-person orientation registration is only available from May 15 – June 5 or until capacity is reached)
