Congratulations New Titan!

You are entering one of the most diverse campuses in the nation, and we are excited to help you make CSUF your new home.

Transfer students are required to complete orientation, and you have two options to fulfill that requirement.

Option 1: Transfer Student Orientation In-Person

The in-person Transfer Student Orientation (TSO) session, is a full day session and costs $60 to attend*.  At TSO, you will have the opportunity to meet other transfer students, receive academic advisement, and meet faculty in your major. You will also have an opportunity to connect with campus resources, get your TitanCard, sign up for the Student Recreation Center, and take an optional campus tour. This is a great step toward being prepared for your first day at CSUF. Meals will also be provided at TSO.

*Please note that orientation fees are nonrefundable once registered for in-person TSO. Completing the Online Transfer Overview does not cancel a student's TSO registration and fees.

Option 2: Online Transfer Overview

The Online Transfer Overview (OTO) is a 45 minute electronic overview of campus resources and services. OTO will highlight important policies, campus resources, and provide you with the contact information and locations for advisors in your college. Participation in the online overview satisfies the orientation requirement for transfer students, but does not provide personalized academic advising. It is recommended that students who select this option seek out academic and major advising as soon as possible or also attend the in-person TSO session. There is no charge for OTO.

*Please note that completing the Online Transfer Overview does not cancel your TSO registration and fees. If students have registered and paid for in-person TSO but do not attend, they do not qualify for a refund.

 Title IX Training

All new students must complete a mandatory Title IX training prior to attending orientation. The training is accessible through the Orientation Registration website.  For step-by-step instructions to access the Orientation regsitration site and the Title IX training, visit the following link:  Accessing Title IX Training
