Orientation Fee Deferral:
Students who filed a 2015-2016 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) on or before the March 3rd priority deadline, will be considered for a deferment of the $60 Transfer Student Orientation (TSO) program fee. Deferment means that payment of the orientation fee has been postponed until the student’s financial aid award has been disbursed at the start of the fall semester. The TSO fee is applied to a student’s account until financial aid funds are disbursed to cover your first semester charges (including the TSO fee).
In order to receive an TSO fee deferment, students must qualify for the maximum Federal Pell Grant, based on a zero "Estimated Family Contribution" (EFC) as determined by federal guidelines. Students who qualify for an Orientation Fee Deferral will be notified via their student Portal and when signing up for orientation. Please note the parent orientation fee is not eligible for deferment.
