We understand that transitioning to college can be challenging for both a student and supporter, which is why we've created an orientation program to help parents/supporters navigate this exciting time. There are two available options to complete Parent and Supporter Orientation (PSO):

In-Person PSO

In-Person PSO is a one-day session where parents/supporters will hear from key campus partners, have the opportunity to network with other Titan parents and supporters and have lunch at the Titan Dining Hall.

*In-person Parent and Supporter Orientation only allows for 2 guests max per student.

*Spanish interpreting services are available for in-person PSO.

Online PSO

Online PSO includes an online self-paced module introducing you to CSUF, an overview of helpful campus resources for your student, and information about parent/supporter engagement and involvement.

*Spanish language option available once your account is created.

How to Register for Parent and Supporter Orientation

Once your student registers for their New Student Orientation date, they will receive a confirmation email that includes the option to register a parent/supporter for Parent and Supporter Orientation. The email will offer two format options: in-person or online.

In-Person: If you choose the in-person option, the date will automatically align with your student’s orientation session.
Online: If you choose the online option, you will receive a confirmation email with the access link as soon as registration and payment are complete.

Cost for Parent and Supporter Orientation

Regardless of attending the in-person orientation or the online virtual orientation, the cost for Parent and Supporter Orientation is $75.

As a reminder, the $75 Parent and Supporter Orientation fee is non-refundable. Please visit our requirements and policies website for more information.

Parking Information

Please read the following two options:

If you are driving with your student, please check with your student first if they have already purchased a parking permit. You will only need to purchase one permit for a vehicle. If they have not, follow the instructions below to purchase a parking permit.
If you are driving without your student, you may purchase your parking permit in advance. Follow the steps below to purchase your parking permit:

Steps to Purchase Parking Permit

Visit Orientation at CSU Fullerton Campus | ParkMobile
Select your Parent and Supporter Orientation date from the list of ‘New Student Orientation’ dates
Nutwood Parking Structure will become available. Select “Reserve”
Log in to your ParkMobile account or continue as a Guest
Enter your email address & license plate number
Enter your Payment Details
Select “Complete Purchase.” Then you’re all set to park on orientation day! There will be no physical permit that you need to print, your license plate will be your permit. If you purchase in advance, the permit will be valid for your Orientation session.

Check-In Location:

Once parked in Nutwood Parking Structure, go to the first level and exit the structure facing campus and you will see signage pointing you to check in. You will see flags as well as hear music playing. With or without your student, you will check in at the same location. Please reference the screenshot.
