The Orientation fee supports CSUF’s Orientation program and is due upon Orientation registration. Please note that some students may be eligible for a later payment deadline. For those students, payment will be postponed until 10 days before the start of the semester.

Important Reminders: If you are eligible for an Orientation later payment deadline and are no longer attending CSUF in the fall semester, you will still be responsible for any outstanding orientation fees.

The Orientation fee is non-refundable, including for missed sessions or withdrawn applications. However, we will consider refund requests due to extenuating circumstances.

To request a refund, please submit the request via our online form. Refund requests for New Student Orientation and/or Parent and Supporter Orientation, must be initiated by the student. All refund requests will be reviewed, and you will be notified of the decision. For Summer Orientation, requests will be reviewed at the end of the summer, and approved refunds will be issued at that time.

If you are considering a refund request due to an Offer of Admission being rescinded, please consider submitting an admission appeal first. Appeal instructions can be found here.

Important Note: Students are required to use their CSUF email address to complete the refund request form. Supporting documentation is necessary for processing your request. Please ensure that you include any relevant documents along with your submission.

Returning Student Orientation Policy

If you’re a returning CSUF student who has missed two or more consecutive regular semesters (e.g., Fall and Spring or Spring and Fall), you’ll need to complete orientation again. Not sure if this applies to you? Contact us at orientation@fullerton.edu—we’re happy to help!

Note : Winter and Summer sessions are not considered regular semesters for this policy. Enrollment in Open University while not formally enrolled at CSUF does not count toward continuous enrollment.

Orientation connects students with their academic college for advising and registration support. Even if you are not required to complete orientation again, it is strongly recommended that you contact your advisor for advising and registration guidance as you prepare to return.
