Joao Barros

Joao Barros, ph.d.

Dr. Barros joined CSUF in 2010. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Sao Paulo and his Ph.D. at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is also an active member of the North American Society for the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity.

Michele Barr

Dr. Barr joined CSUF in 1994 after completing her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at CSUF. She completed her Ed.D. in Instructional Leadership from Argosy University.  Dr. Barr is an active member in the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society, the American Association of Anatomists, and serves as a team leader in the International Human Cadaver Prosection Program at Indiana University School of Medicine.

Charles joined the Auxiliary Services Corporation as a Sponsored Programs Administrator on the first day of Fall Semester 2014. He worked previously for many years at the CSULB Research Foundation in a few different positions, the last 10 years as a grant administrator and compliance coordinator in the sponsored programs department there. Charles lives in Long Beach and enjoys gardening, theater and film, and giving belly rubs to his spoiled dachshund.

Leaa Short is a SoCal native and has lived in the Deep South. After returning to her home state and working in the development industry she received both a B.A. and M.A. in Geography from Cal State Fullerton. She currently teaches in the same department where she received her training.
