Centers and Institutes Extramural Funding

Goal 4 of the CSUF Strategic PlanOpens in new window is to: “Increase revenue through fundraising, entrepreneurial activities, grants, and contracts.” In an effort to support this goal, proposals are invited from all CSUF centers and institutes in Academic AffairsOpens in new window. “Centers and Institutes were established in Academic Affairs to enhance scholarly and creative activities, to provide professional development opportunities, and to build relationships with industry and the community, to aid in obtaining external support, and to complement the University Mission and Strategic Plan PDF FileOpens in new window” (UPS 100.700). The goal of the CIEF Initiative is to fund an infrastructure that will support more effective and productive collaborative efforts leading to success in receiving extramurally funded grants and/or promote scholarship and/or creative activities and advance CSUF’s mission and strategic plan.
