Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity (RSCA) Incentive Grant to Promote External Funding

Cycle: Fall
Status: Closed

Goal 4 of Cal State Fullerton's Strategic Plan calls for a “25% increase in overall grants and contracts revenue through Principal Investigator applications.” To help meet this goal, the university is committed to providing incentives necessary to increase faculty engagement in pursuing grants and contracts. The RSCA Incentive Grant program, funded by the CSU Chancellor’s Office, is one way to support this goal.

All full-time faculty members, full-time lecturers, coaches, counselors and librarians (bargaining Unit 3 employees) are invited to submit proposals that focus on further preparing external grant proposals. It is expected that successful RSCA applicants will be those who already have work (work that will culminate in a proposal that is ready or near ready for submission to a specifically identified external funding agency) underway that will potentially be completed by August 31, 2017.
