     Cal State Fullerton invites you to participate in the second Student Creative Activities and Research (SCAR) Day, a one-day event to recognize and celebrate your research/creative achievements and activities.

 

Student Poster/Exhibit Session

11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.
TSU Pavilion A

     Undergraduate and graduate students will present their research/creative activities through a poster presentation or exhibit. If you are interested in presenting, please see instructions below.

Outstanding Student Scholarly and Creative Activities Award Ceremony

1:30 p.m.- 2 p.m.
TSU Pavilion A

     The winners of the second annual CSUF Outstanding Student Scholarly and Creative Activities Award will be announced during a ceremony honoring their works: one undergraduate and one graduate student from each college.

Faculty-Student Reception

2-3 p.m.
TSU Pavilion A

     Join us for a reception sponsored by the Office of Research and Development (ORD) to honor faculty mentors and students. The winners of the three Outstanding Poster/Exhibit Awards will be announced.

Instructions for submitting a Poster/Exhibit:

Email the following to scar@fullerton.edu (Subject line: your last name Poster/Exhibit submission 2014) by 5 p.m., March 17 Submissions closed

     1. Your name
     2. Email address
     3. College, department and major
     4. Title of presentation
     5. Faculty mentor’s name
     6. Indicate if you are submitting a poster or art exhibit.
     7. A statement noting that you understand that posters exceeding 30’’ x 40’’ will not be accepted.

     The first 60 submissions are guaranteed to be included in the event. Posters cannot exceed 30’’X 40’’. Posters larger than this size will not be accepted. If you are exhibiting art, contact Drs. Terri Patchen or Nathalie Carrick regarding space requirements.
