Ample career opportunities exist within the nation’s community colleges. The presenters will provide an overview of the community college job search, as well as advice on navigating one’s career in the community college system.

Many new professionals in student affairs begin their careers in housing and residence life. Student affairs areas that often require specific skills connected to housing and residence life are judicial affairs and Greek life. The work in these areas is both challenging and rewarding. “Student Affairs 101: Introduction to the Profession”

"Sculpting Race: An Innovative Approach to Teaching Racial Identity Development"

In this interactive session, the presenters will develop a human sculpture in order to teach the dynamics of Janet Helms’ Black and White racial identity development models.
