The University General Safety Training is intended to promote the health and safety of faculty, staff, and students and increase awareness of safety related issues in the workplace. Please familiarize yourself with all safety procedures and resources availableto you so that in case of an accident or emergency you will know the appropriate steps to take.
All new student employees are required to take the mandatory online University General Safety Training. To access the training please log onto your Student Portal and click on the tab labeled “Student Training”. If you do not seethis tab please go to your profile and add it. Click on the Mandatory Student Training logo. Next click on the folder to have the list of mandatory trainings appear. Finally, click “Launch” next to the training you want to complete.
